Everyday is so hard,
But I continue to survive.
My life was dealt a bad card,
And it’s a miracle I’m alive.
Everyday is a new fight,
But I continue to stay.
My life has never been right,
And I just want to get away.
Everyday is just the same,
But I continue to live.
My life is just a treacherous game,
And at times, I feel like I don’t give.
Everyday I want to take my last breath.
But my heart continues to beat.
My life has revolved around death,
And I sit in sorrow and defeat.
Everyday I have not won,
But I continue to play.
My life has not just begun,
It’s only just a new day…
